*The Omni Cruise Universal Motorcycle Cruise Control / Throttle Lock is designed to fit any motorcycle or scooter but there will be exceptions with ANY "Universal" product. The Omni-Cruise requires a minimum of 3 1/4" of clearance from the grip to any objects that may interfere with its operation including hand guards and low mirrors in front of the grip. Many times these interfering objects can be adjusted, but not always. Please measure if there is a risk of interference.

  • V STROM WITH STOCK GUARDS. I do have an adapter that I make that moves the hand guards out just enough to let the Omni work and it has received great reviews both on my site and on stromtroopers.com. YOU MUST REQUEST IT IN THE COMMENT FIELD AFTER ADDING TO YOUR CART>
  • DRIVEN D3 ALUMINUM type grips. (The aluminum tube is free floating on the rubber so clamping onto it doesn't guarantee it will hold well as they are prone to rotating around the rubber)
  • Some year Heritage Softtail, FatBob and possibly a few others have less than 3-1/4" clearance on the mirror. Usually the mirror can be adjusted so it can clear but though I have never seen it I have had a few shorter riders mention they were not able to safely adjust it. It's rare but worth looking at if you have the super short teardrop mirrors that are less than 3" from the grip. I have made a few risers to move the mirrors and will make it an available part if I get a few requests.

LIKE ANY CRUISE CONTROL, THROTTLE LOCK, OR THROTTLE ASSIST it is designed to ease tension on the riders wrist, and not to enable single handed operation of a cycle. Your right hand is your gateway to speed control and removing your hand completely increases your response time in the event of any unforeseen event (like a rogue suicidal squirrel). Simply put, keeping your hand on the grip increases your chances of living through a bad situation no matter what throttle assist best fits your needs.

  1. Omni-Cruise delivers what I expected 5 Star Review

Posted by on 24th Sep 2020

I would not say that Omni-Cruise is on par with a factory installed electronic cruise control, but it performs well as intended. It provides short-term relief on my wrist and grip while on a long ride, and allows me to rest my hand on the bar end while maintaining good control of the bike. It does need some adjusting here and there while underway, but dollar-for-dollar I think it is well worth it.

  2. Works Great 5 Star Review

I have a couple of these and they work great. Really well made.

  3. Well worth the purchase 4 Star Review

It is not perfect, but this is a great option to get true rest and relief for the throttle hand/wrist.

As noted by others it will slowly slip on speed/throttle position either at engagement or over time (I also need to try without the band in use to see if there is a difference). For me, this is less noticeable when travelling faster/more throttle open (50mph+ seems to be a good floor). I have previously only used the "palm paddles" for relief and control while riding, but that still requires active hand use to maintain throttle control. For open road travelling overall, this device is a big win.

Well built. Sturdy material. Plenty long enough to reach atop my brake lever. Small enough to not interfere with any controls or mirrors (Honda NC700x). Super easy on/off.

    Unquestionably would recommend this product.

  4. sort of kind of works sometimes 3 Star Review

Posted by on 4th Oct 2019

just got back from 4k mile ride. these work for a few minutes-moments and give your right hand some relief. only occasionally did it hold speed constant. mostly it would slowly bleed off speed. the culprit is not the design, but rather that soft rubber band they ship with it as a grip. it is too soft to grip. Others write that just using this direct to the throttle grip works well. I will try again. It is a reasonable good solution for some hand relief speed control. I will buy another for my other bike.

  5. Motorcycle Cruise Control 5 Star Review

Posted by on 28th Sep 2019

Omni-Cruise is a very well made, American made product. Super easy to use and install. When I don't need it I just store it under my seat. It is all I need and I swap it back and forth between my Buell XB12-Ss and Triumph Speed Triple R.

  6. Good product 4 Star Review

Works in principal as expected. Sometimes slips back if its undesirable, even the adjusting screw is tightened hard.

  7. helpful device but not perfect 4 Star Review

Posted by on 10th Aug 2019

2600km trip it definitely helped take some strain off of my throttle hand/wrist. Not sure if it was just my bike (2006 GSXR 750) but it would not set with one hand. I had to push it forward slightly with left hand while accelerating slightly with the right. This was the only way i could get it to maintain speed. Otherwise it would drop in speed quite a bit before engaging. Also, speed will begin to decrease gradually after 10min or so. Overall it did what i wanted it to do - it relieved my throttle hand for even a few minutes at a time which allowed me to ride for much much longer. I will use it again on next trip & would still recommend - but I would just say to anyone looking at this, to temper your expectations.

  8. Simple, effective and elegant solution. 5 Star Review

Posted by on 24th Jun 2019

It is easy to install and has a very short learning curve on the road. To me it seems to offer the same performance as the more expensive and more complicated to install throttle lock options. This is a very well made product.

  9. How did I every get by 5 Star Review

Posted by on 4th May 2019

I had a throttle lock but not like this one. At first looking at this product I thought how is this going to work but was I surprised on how well it performed. It was so easy to install I thought no way.... and it didn't take a big bite out of my pocket eather. It's the simple things in life I like. Well done Omni Cruise.

  10. Wiorks as advertised 4 Star Review

Posted by on 30th Apr 2019

Not as good as true cruise control, but does the job well enough. Biggest issue is that I have small hands and reach is a problem at times.
