*The Omni Cruise Universal Motorcycle Cruise Control / Throttle Lock is designed to fit any motorcycle or scooter but there will be exceptions with ANY "Universal" product. The Omni-Cruise requires a minimum of 3 1/4" of clearance from the grip to any objects that may interfere with its operation including hand guards and low mirrors in front of the grip. Many times these interfering objects can be adjusted, but not always. Please measure if there is a risk of interference.

  • V STROM WITH STOCK GUARDS. I do have an adapter that I make that moves the hand guards out just enough to let the Omni work and it has received great reviews both on my site and on stromtroopers.com. YOU MUST REQUEST IT IN THE COMMENT FIELD AFTER ADDING TO YOUR CART>
  • DRIVEN D3 ALUMINUM type grips. (The aluminum tube is free floating on the rubber so clamping onto it doesn't guarantee it will hold well as they are prone to rotating around the rubber)
  • Some year Heritage Softtail, FatBob and possibly a few others have less than 3-1/4" clearance on the mirror. Usually the mirror can be adjusted so it can clear but though I have never seen it I have had a few shorter riders mention they were not able to safely adjust it. It's rare but worth looking at if you have the super short teardrop mirrors that are less than 3" from the grip. I have made a few risers to move the mirrors and will make it an available part if I get a few requests.

LIKE ANY CRUISE CONTROL, THROTTLE LOCK, OR THROTTLE ASSIST it is designed to ease tension on the riders wrist, and not to enable single handed operation of a cycle. Your right hand is your gateway to speed control and removing your hand completely increases your response time in the event of any unforeseen event (like a rogue suicidal squirrel). Simply put, keeping your hand on the grip increases your chances of living through a bad situation no matter what throttle assist best fits your needs.

  1. Great product 5 Star Review

Posted by on 13th May 2018

I think the omni cruise is a decent product with excellent quality. It works well with bar end mirrors but the space between the cruise and mirror mount can be a bit tight depending on the size of your hand. It also needs to be adjusted with changes from warm to colder weather and for this reason it could use a larger adjustment knob as it's not that easy to adjust when riding with cold weather gloves. Overall it's a great product that does what it should.

  2. An Excellent & Quality product 5 Star Review

Does an excellent job. Very clever design and a quality product.

  3. Hand numbness can be fixed now!! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 10th Nov 2017

This is a perfect answer to solving my hands going numb the first few hours of the ride. I can now set the lock and shake them off. Very high quality product that packs away in pocket or tank bag when I hit the trails.

Make sure you follow directions for use. Mine did not work very well the first ride. In fact I hated it! I ended up moving my throttle inboard a little and getting rid of the rubber sleeve. Now it works like a charm and rotates out of the way when not needed.

Thank you sir for a really nice product. I might add this is not some cheap plastic Chinese crap. All metal and very nicely fabricated stainless and aluminum. You are getting what you pay for here.

  4. Yes it works! 5 Star Review

  5. Great Product 5 Star Review

Posted by on 19th Jun 2017

I saw this product at a motorcycle show a couple of years ago and bought one. The design is similar to something I bought in the 80's, but a far superior design. My recent purchase was for my son and a friend. Both are extremely happy with the design quality and functionality. If you don't have electronic cruise control, this is your product.

  6. Oklahoma to West coast and back 5 Star Review

Posted by on 5th Apr 2017

This is a must for long riding. I had a cheaper version by another company that was not even close to the quality of Omni Cruise. Changed my hand grips and ordered the XL band, received them in just two days and there was an extra in the package added in by the owner! Thank you for a great product.

  7. Omni after 3000 miles 4 Star Review

Posted by on 15th Sep 2016

I think the Omni Cruise is a brilliant piece of engineering. Simple and functional! I put it on my VTX Honda 1800 and left on a 3000 mile bike ride. The Omni performed great with in my expectations and needs. What I wanted was something inexpensive and easy to use that would let me let go of the throttle occasionally and this fit the bill. A couple of small things I did notice, it has a tendency to loosen up after a while and needs to be tightened, but other then that I a happy rider!

  8. Great Customer Service 5 Star Review

I use mine all the time - great wrist saver.
The best part of this company is Brian really takes care of the customers. When I had a problem with the bands tearing, Brian stepped in with a solution. Great Company!

  10. Very useful option to add to your bike. 5 Star Review

Posted by on 24th Jul 2016

I did some research for products of this nature.
I have a more simple version of a similar product which also worked well.
But I wanted something that was more durable.
This item is very easy and simple to install. Mere minutes.
It works great once you have made the required adjustments.
Allows me to give my right hand a bit of a rest by not having to keep a firm grip on the throttle.
Detailed instructions are very accurate. Follow them and you can't go wrong.
As is suggested and which I also agree to, this is not to be used to ride with no hands.
That is just not a wise idea.
I highly recommend this item. I liked it so much that I actually purchased a second one for my son. He also thinks it is great.
    Good job people, great product.Thanks
